Introducing K by Kalon — Our Dreamy Athleisure Debut!

We can hardly believe this moment is finally here… say hello to K by Kalon, our very first athleisure collection!

This has been a dream of ours for years—and when we say years, we mean it. It’s been a long time coming, and we’re beyond excited to finally share it with you.

This debut collection is packed with pieces we know you’re going to love: sculpting leggings, flattering shorts, supportive sports bras, and our favorite cozy-chic non-slip socks. All of it is dipped in Kalon’s signature feminine hues of burgundy and pink—because we believe your activewear should feel just as glamorous as it is functional.

But behind all the pretty pieces? There’s a story full of persistence, passion, and heart. So let’s take a little walk down memory lane…

Where It All Began

Rewind five years. Our co-founder and CEO, Sophie, and our then-brand manager, Cha (a.k.a. Jaja!), were dreaming big. They played around with the idea of creating an athleisure line—even crafting the very first prototypes in beautiful Bali. The pieces were fun, flirty, and full of character—picture bows on the shoulders, cheeky cuts, and a dash of showgirl sparkle.

Those early designs even made a cameo in some of our OG app videos (go ahead and spot them if you're feeling nostalgic!). But while the vision was there, the timing wasn’t. Kalon was still in its early days, and quality has always been non-negotiable for us. We simply couldn’t afford to bring our dream line to life in the way we envisioned—so we pressed pause.

Fast forward a few years (and a flagship studio opening later), the stars finally aligned. With more experience under our belts and a bit more freedom to explore, we dusted off the dream and got to work on creating a collection that felt so us—showgirl glam meets everyday ease.

Designing with Heart (and Curves)

From day one, we knew exactly what we wanted: flattering, confidence-boosting pieces that actually feel good to wear. Think high-waisted bottoms that smooth and sculpt, tops with lines that enhance and support, and everything done in our signature Kalon tones—those elegant, feminine colors we always come back to.

We spent months perfecting the details. Every seam, every strap, every fabric choice was obsessed over until we got it just right.

Bringing the Vision to Life

Once the designs were locked in, we faced our next big challenge: finding the right people to bring our ideas to life. That’s when fate (and a bit of Kalon magic) stepped in.

Bianca, one of our amazing social media interns at the time, introduced us to her mom, Pilar—an absolute powerhouse in Peru’s textile industry. We hit it off instantly. Through countless Zoom calls, WhatsApps, and coffee-fueled brainstorms, Pilar helped us take those dreamy designs off the page and into the real world.

She connected us with a family-owned factory in Bogotá, Colombia, that’s not only skilled and experienced, but also completely aligned with our values. Working conditions, ethical production, and transparency were all at the top of our must-have list—and this factory ticked every box. It felt like we had found the perfect match.

At Kalon, we’re not just about looking good—we care deeply about how our pieces are made and who’s making them. We’re proud to partner with people who put just as much love and intention into their work as we do.

The Launch of K by Kalon

And now, here we are! Our first-ever collection—featuring cycling shorts, leggings, two beautiful bra styles, and our signature non-slip socks—is officially available both in our studio and online.

This launch means the world to us. It’s not just a new product line—it’s a symbol of growth, creativity, and holding on to your dreams (even when they take a little longer than planned).
