What is Kalon Barre®?
Kalon Barre® is a dynamic, ballet-inspired workout that blends elements of dance, Pilates, and fitness. Designed by professional dancers, this method uses high repetitions and low resistance to sculpt long, lean muscles—helping you build strength, posture, and grace. Every class is infused with elegance, energy, and a signature touch of glamour.

Do I need dance experience?
Not at all! Our classes are designed for all levels, and the movements are easy to follow—even if you've never danced before.

Are the classes beginner-friendly?
While Kalon Barre® is a high-intensity workout, we recommend starting with Total Body, Posture, or Energize if you're new to barre or returning to fitness. Our instructors are always happy to offer modifications to suit your level.

Classes can be taken at the Kalon Flagship Studio on 6 Rue Rodier, 75009, Paris.​

I'm not in Paris, can I follow your classes online ?
Yes ! We have a gorgeous VOD app with hundreds of workouts filmed in Paris and around the world with the Team K showgirls.

Are the coaches really professional dancers?
Yes! All of Kalon's coaches are current and former dancers and performers from internationally-known cabarets and theatres.
They are all dedicated to helping YOU consciously workout by sharing their years of professional experience.

What is the price of a class?
A single class at the Kalon Studio is 32€. Packs of 5, 10 and 20 are available.
Classes with our partner hotels and studios vary.
The app is 35€ per month of 300€ per year, with a 7 day free trial on the monthly option.

What is your cancellation policy?
At the Kalon Studio, we kindly ask that you cancel at least 12 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the class. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before class time may result in the loss of your session credit. Please note that partners bookin policies may differ : please contact them for further information.

Which class is the most challenging?
Power is our most advanced class. Expect increased cardio, extra equipment, and higher repetitions for a deep, satisfying burn.

Can I take Kalon Barre® while pregnant?
Yes! Our method is safe during pregnancy, especially as it’s low impact and mostly standing. Our instructors can provide specific modifications for the abdominal section and any other movements. Please inform your instructor before class so they can tailor the workout for you.

What language are classes taught in?
Our international team teaches in both French and English. If you have a preference, feel free to contact the studio in advance—we’ll guide you to the right class or instructor.

What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable activewear such as leggings or shorts, paired with a sports bra or t-shirt—anything you feel great moving in.
​
Do I need to wear socks?
Yes, we recommend wearing socks for hygiene and to help with grip on the studio floor. Grip socks are ideal, but regular socks are also fine.

Can I shower at the studio?
Absolutely. We have elegant, high-pressure showers available, complete with towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a curated selection of beauty products.

Are all classes the same?
Never! Each class follows our Kalon method but changes weekly to keep your body challenged. Sequences and focus areas vary to ensure you’re always progressing—and never bored.

Can men join the classes?
Yes, men are more than welcome! Please note, however, that we currently do not offer men's changing or shower facilities.

Can I follow the app VOD workouts without internet connection?

Yes! You can follow our workouts from our mobile app by first downloading your favourite workouts within the app when you have an internet connection, so they will be available anytime, anywhere!

How long is a Kalon Barre® class?
In-person classes last one hour.
On the app, you can try a quick 5 minute challenge, increase to a 15 minute focus workout or go all the way with 30-45 minute session.

How do I cancel my membership on the app?
Easy! You can cancel your membership by going into your account, then click "billing", "change plan" and finally: "cancel membership".
​
How do I cancel my in-app membership?
If you purchased your membership within the IOS or Google Play app, simply cancel directly through your Apple or Android account.
​
How many videos can I access with my online membership ?
The Kalon platform and app includes over 500 different on-demand video workouts and transformational programmes.

A full-body burn with extra focus on your glutes and legs. Expect precise movements to lift and tone from the waist down.
CORE
Strengthen and define your midsection with this class dedicated to your abs, waist, and back—while still working your entire body.
POWER
Our most intense class. With added resistance, cardio bursts, and high reps, it’s made for those who love a challenge.
STRETCH
A 60-minute recovery session: 40 minutes of dynamic movement followed by 20 minutes of deep stretching and relaxation. Perfect for flexibility and stress release.
